These Terms set the conditions for using RUTELI (the "Service"), a daily-goal achievement app provided by Ongil (the "Company"). The Korean version is the original; this English version is a translation.
1. The Service
RUTELI provides:
- Picking or creating missions, 7/14/30/100-day challenges, and daily check-ins (check, timer, photo)
- A streak board, XP, levels, and badges
- A daily check-in reminder
- (Optional) Pacts with friends: setting the same goal with friends and cheering each other on
- A reward shop and reward points (coming soon, not currently available)
Personal challenges work without an account and are stored on your device only. Pacts require login.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are created with Google, Apple, or Kakao social login and are needed only for pacts.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time. It is hidden immediately and server data is permanently deleted after 30 days (Privacy Policy, Section 6).
3. Records and check-ins
- Records, XP, and badges are stored on your device. If you uninstall the app or change devices, they may not be recoverable.
- You can check in only for today; back-dating is not possible.
- Proof photos stay on your device and are not sent to servers or other users.
- The Service is a tool to help build habits and does not guarantee any outcome.
4. Your obligations and community rules
When using pacts, you must not:
- Use someone else's account or sign up with false information
- Falsify check-ins to deceive other members
- Reverse engineer the Service or send abnormal requests with automated tools
- Harass or threaten other users, or send abuse, hate, spam, or ads in cheer messages
- Put profanity, sexual content, discriminatory or hateful expressions, or impersonation of others or the Company in your nickname
- Violate laws or public order
If you violate these rules, the Company may warn you, restrict features, or suspend your account.
5. Rewards and points
- The reward shop and reward points are coming soon. Points cannot currently be earned or redeemed.
- XP is an in-app progress measure with no monetary value and does not convert to points.
- Before launching points, we will announce the terms of operation and update these Terms.
6. Ads
The Service shows a bottom banner ad. The Company does not endorse third-party products or services in ads; transactions are between you and the advertiser. Ad consent and choices follow Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Rights in the Service and its design and content (such as built-in missions) belong to the Company. Content you enter, such as challenge titles, is yours and is used only as needed to show it to other members of a pact.
8. Changes and discontinuation
The Company may change or discontinue features to improve the Service or for operational reasons, and will announce material changes in the app or on this site in advance.
9. Limitation of liability
- The Service is provided as is. The Company is not liable for damage caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or network, device, or store outages.
- Notifications may be late or not delivered depending on device settings, OS policies, and network state.
- If records stored only on your device are lost because you lose or reset the device or uninstall the app, the Company cannot restore them.
- Liability for damage caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence follows applicable law.
10. Changes to the Terms
We will announce changes in the app or on this page; for material changes we notify you 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
